Themes give the user everything he needs to customise a website, and there are many of free themes in WordPress that come with Demo Content.
To gain access to demo content, you can follow one of two scenarios:
Using Starter Sites in the First Scenario
Neve and Hestia are two of the most popular themes, and having ready-made Starter Sites makes the whole process of building a website much easier.
Importing an XML file is the second scenario
Step 1: Go to the Dashboard of your website (1).
Ascertain that the theme for which you wish to import the.xml file is active.
Step 2: Go to Tools (2) > Import (3).
Step 3: Choose “WordPress” from the list.
Step 4: After installing, click on Run the importer now“.
Step 5: Upload the demo content .xml using the form provided on that page, and click on “Update file and import“.
Step 6: You’ll be asked to associate the authors in this export file with blog users.
You have the option of mapping each author to an existing user on the blog or creating a new account.
Step 7: To import attachments, select “Download and import file attachments” from the drop-down menu.
Step 8: Import Posts, Pages, Projects, and Menus. You’ll need to assign the menu to a theme and set up widgets.
The import system in WordPress has this constraint.
